Self-employed or running a business?

As you read the above title does this set you thinking?

How do you describe yourself and what is the difference?

Self employed is say taking on work for which you can charge and make

a profit, and possibly have help from a sub-contractor.

Running a business is;

stepping back and working on the business rather than in the business.

This might mean

  • identifying your ideal customer and marketing to them

  • using automation to save time on administration

  • Creating a clear pricing strategy

  • Doing "stuff" that adds value

  • Differentiating your business from all the others

I will develop this in future blogs.

In the meantime think about the above. Which one are you?

Lets talk! Book a meeting
